SUMMARY

My name is Rashad Morgan. I'm an IT Manager, with over 15 years of experience in technology, employed by The Reynolds Company and McNaughton-McKay Electric Company. I am responsible for providing technical leadership for projects, managing the ITSM, overseeing the change management in IT, and managing a cross-country team of System Administrators. 

I obtained my B.S. in Computer Engineering Technology from Prairie View A&M University, in May 2007, in parallel with a minor in Management Information Systems. In 2012, I received Technology Project Management training and certification at the University of Houston. In recent years I've satisfied my craving for knowledge by diving into courses on E-Learning providers like Coursera and Udemy.

Outside of the office, I have served as a Board Member for NSBE Houston Professionals. Serving my community is one of the most fulfilling things in my life. When life is too busy and becomes all about me, I try to remind myself of this quote from the Greek army General, Pericles, "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."
